Error codes vary by manufacturer — find your brand below to look up what your code means.
These pages are organised by code family rather than by individual code. Manufacturers issue dozens of variants of the same underlying fault — a dozen numbers that all mean "the sealed system is not reaching temperature" — and one page covering the family is more use than a dozen near-identical stubs. Find the family your code belongs to and the cause is usually on it.
LG, Samsung and Bosch publish their own laundry code lists, so these are read off the manufacturer rather than reconstructed. Note that their entries here cover washers and dryers only — for a fault on one of their kitchen appliances, start from the symptom instead.
We repair Gaggenau, Dacor, U-Line, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Kenmore, Amana and Speed Queen as well, and none of them has a code reference here yet. That is about published documentation, not about what we service — plenty of units signal a fault with a flashing light pattern or a blinking LED rather than an alphanumeric code, and those cannot be looked up in a table at all.
