Bosch codes appear as E or F followed by a number, and across model generations the two prefixes are largely interchangeable for the same fault. E18 and F18 are one problem, not two.

Washer Drain Codes (E18)
E18 / F18 / d02 — no drainage; blocked pump or kinked hose
Washer AquaStop & Leak Codes (E23)
E23 / F23 — AquaStop leak protection triggered; shut the tap
Washer Water Intake Codes (E17)
E17 — fill timeout; tap, hose or inlet screen
Washer Drive & Motor Codes (F21)
F21 — drive/motor fault. Not first-party confirmed
