Regular preventive maintenance catches small issues before they become expensive repairs.
Appliances last longest with regular attention, and the higher the build quality the more that attention pays back. A condenser coil cleaned every 6–12 months, a door gasket checked before it dries out, a dryer vent cleared before it restricts — these small things are what actually prevent the calls we get most often: warm refrigerators, failed compressors, dryers that need two cycles, and water damage from a slow leak nobody noticed.
A maintenance visit runs $250 to $450 for one appliance, depending on how much is involved in servicing it. Every visit covers the full checklist above, and anything we find is quoted separately before we touch it — a maintenance visit never turns into a repair bill you did not agree to.
Straightforward units with fewer serviceable systems. Usually under an hour.
More to check — gas jetting on cooking appliances, water lines and fill valves on ice.
The most involved: sealed-system checks, panel-ready door geometry, dual-zone calibration.
Most of the cost of a visit is getting a technician to your kitchen, so a second appliance while we are already there costs considerably less than a second visit would.
Annual and twice-yearly schedules run at the same per-visit price, and plan customers move to the front of the queue when something does go wrong. Mountain addresses above 7,000 ft are priced the same; we may just need a wider scheduling window in winter.
