The machine moves across the floor. Is that dangerous?

It is hard on the machine and on the floor rather than dangerous, but it will not fix itself. Check the feet are level and in contact first; if the machine was delivered recently, check the transit bolts came out, because that is the most common cause by a distance.

Is a rumbling noise on spin the bearings?

Frequently, especially if it is there on a balanced load and rises with speed. Worn suspension produces a similar sound but usually lets the drum knock rather than rumble. The two are told apart by hand in about a minute.

Is this worth repairing, or should I replace the unit?

It depends on the part, and on a mass-market unit that genuinely cuts both ways. A pump, a belt, a thermostat, a door switch — inexpensive, quick, clearly worth doing. A compressor or a sealed system in a ten-year-old machine can approach the price of a new one, and when it does we say so rather than quote the work.
